Vending Paris 2019 took place from 2 – 4 April at the Porte de Versailles Exposition Centre.
The central theme of the 3-day trade show this year focused on well-being at work, and visitors were able to discover this concept in a specifically designed open space, which doubled up as a central cosy area for the conferences and presentations.
For the second time, the French Vending Machine Fillers Competition took place all day on 3rd April, with 13 candidates from 6 companies competing in both practical and theoretical tests for the prestigious title – which went to Ludovic Rabet from Daltys.
During the Conference programme, Erwin Wetzel, the EVA Director General, presented the latest vending market trends and figures (with a focus on France), as well as outlining who the new consumers for vending could be, and what their demands typically are.
This 16th edition of Vending Paris was very successful and the EVA noted a marked increase in visitors to the show. According to the organisers, there was a 10% increase in visitors compared to the previous edition in 2017, bringing the attendance to 4,200. Indeed, we were able to catch up with many members at the exhibition, as well as having great conversations with potential new members and those interested in the new developments and trends in the pan-European industry.
The EVA congratulates the French Vending Association (NAVSA) and Reed, the organisers of Vending Paris, for a successful and innovative show.
