The Simat Group (producers of instant, granulated, and soluble products) has reinforced its operational structure with the appointment of Josep Majó Font as the new CEO. From this position, he will hold the responsibility for the management and development of the business, a position that he will perform together with his current function as Sales Director.
Josep Majó Font takes over from Josep Millán Almirall, Managing Director since September 2015, after communicating his decision to hand over his current operational responsibilities upon reaching retirement age. Through his leadership, exemplary commitment and excellent vision, the Simat Group has become a highly competitive organisation with outstanding growth.
A professional, with an extensive managerial experience for the last fifteen years in the areas of business management, sales and marketing areas, the 53 year old Mr. Majó joined Simat last March to strengthen its team and thus collaborate in achieving the objectives and challenges.
“It is a privilege for me to be able to lead one of the main companies in the production and merchandising of instant products for the vending, catering and convenience sectors,” says Josep Majo. “The main differential factor that allows a company to stand out on its competitors is their human team and Simat not only has a staff based on highly qualified professionals but also with first-class customers, I cannot imagine any other challenge so exciting to face” he adds.
