With only one month to go until the European Vending Experience (EVEX) kicks off in Bucharest, Romania, the European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA) is pleased to announce the final details of the programme and activities.
The event, organised in collaboration with Romanian Vending Association (PRIV), will take place on 5 and 6 September in the Radisson Blu Hotel in the centre of Bucharest. On day one, attendees can enjoy the first of many networking opportunities as a guided walking tour will provide an introductory flavour to our host city and gently get the blood pumping ahead of the EVEX Cocktail reception.
Day two will bring the all-day exhibition, the EVA Annual General Assembly meeting (AGM), some key highlights from the EVA consumer behaviour report, developments from the brand new and soon to be published market report, and the intriguing results of an academic experiment into sustainabilty choices at the vending machine. Following each topic, panel discussions with industry experts and operators will be able to explore these developments further and get the participants’ views on them.
The keynote speech by Andrei Rosu – a top Romanian endurance athlete – will complete the formal programme with his presentation ‘It is never too late to perform.” Andrei has achieved several records after only starting in his thirties to practice sport. He aims to demonstrate to attendees that with will and motivation you can achieve huge goals, but only it you set the objectives right.
In the evening, participants will get a chance to unwind during the Gala Dinner together in the Tuya restaurant where the winners of the EVA awards for ‘Sustainability’ and ‘Innovation’ will be announced. Both award categories have attracted many exciting projects and products and a jury of experts will decide the winners ahead of the event.
After succesful editions in Spain, France, Italy and Germany, we are excited that EVEX this year will be held for the first time in Eastern Europe. With the Romanian market continuing to demonstrate positive growth for vending, the EVA and PRIV are confident that the event will be able to provide a useful platform for companies to meet local Romanian industry players.
The EVA and PRIV are very pleased that the event has attracted significant support from sponsors (the current list shown below), some of which will also be exploring their latest innovations on stage with the participants during the EVEX Conference session.
Participants can view the detailed programme and timings as well as book their tickets for the next industry event directly here.
Registrations close on 29 August.
The EVA and PRIV look forward to welcoming you to Bucharest in one month!
