FrescoFrigo is an Italian food-tech company born in 2018, providing an unmanned, reliable and plug&play smart fridge worldwide, which allows customers to get meals 24/7.
The company developed a technology based on Rfid, which grants the Automatic Product Identification and offers the full package of Smart Fridge, Intuitive Mobile Apps plus a complete software suite for Automated Operations and Advanced Analytics. The software and IoT components have been fully designed and developed by FrescoFrigo while all the smart fridges are made in Italy.
Explaining why they joined the EVA, FrescoFrigo commented, “As a player in the vending machine market, we decided to join EVA as we believe it is a great opportunity to expand our customer base, we are indeed looking to develop our commercial activity in all Europe, mainly Dach, Nordics and Benelux. We expect to get support from the EVA organisation in terms of Market data and reports in order to define the best strategies to penetrate in the European market based on the customer behaviors and trends.
The EVA Director General, Erwin Wetzel welcomed FrescoFrigo to the Association in saying, “the industry is changing and smart fridges can offer vending operators and consumers a new practical form of unattended retail. FrescoFrigo, based in Milan and already a member of the Italian Vending Association (CONFIDA), joins the EVA as a Full Member.
