The Executive Committee of the European Vending & Coffee Service Association (EVA) met in Brussels on 30 March to discuss the situation in Ukraine. The EVA stands in solidarity with the people impacted by the invasion in Ukraine and with all those who are affected by this terrible crisis.
As an industry sector dedicated to providing food and drinks on-the-go and in the workplace, our members present in Ukraine are working hard to ensure continuity of supply, including to the people directly affected by the crisis.
Some vending operators in Ukraine are offering free coffee from their machines to the general public and also try to refill snack machines with food as much as they can. Many international companies in the vending business are also working with humanitarian groups and charities to provide food, clothes and other essential products to the affected people, including offering shelter.
The EVA continues to monitor the situation closely with its members and will organise a charity fund shortly to financially support Ukrainian vending companies in these tragic times.
