Azkoyen, the well-known Spanish manufacturer of vending machines offering a wide range of solutions to sell anything from hot drinks to snacks, fresh food and even tobacco, organised a special event on 20 October in the wonderful city of San Sebastian with loyal clients and partners to present its new brand image.

The company also organised during this business day several workshops, networking occasions and discussions with experts. Indeed, during a special workshop on coffee tasting with a well-known barista, the participants could learn or refresh their expertise on coffee quality and tastes. Azkoyen also presented its newest NEO Q freestanding hot drinks machine with facial recognition, and which combines hot drinks with a point of use water dispenser for reusable containers. Proudly, the new technology of MIA Easy Milk was also showcased for the first time, which allows the same result as liquid milk by injecting high-pressure air into milk extract to create millions of bubbles coated with casein, the most important protein component of fresh milk, creating a velvety and consistent texture.

With regards to the new brand image, Azkoyen underlined that its vision is to help operators make complex things easier and by always aiming to be exquisite. We can certainly only support this type of initiative which go in the right direction for the industry.

EVA Director General, Erwin Wetzel, participated in a panel discussion on sustainability, portraying the upcoming legislation that will impact the industry, but also underlining how sustainable the vending & OCS industry already is.
