NAMA One Show 2017
The NAMA One Show 2017 took place in the Venetian Convention Center, Las Vegas, from the 18th to the 21st of April.
The North American Merchandising Association (NAMA) was proud to host a record-breaking number of exhibitors (about 300) which showed a wide range of products related to the OCS, micromarket & vending segments. The numerous International visitors had the privilege of benefiting from various educational sessions during three days in which very often US-American operators had the opportunity to present their businesses and to showcase their best practices. These sessions aid understanding in how for instance electronic payment methods, telemetry and therefore connected machines can improve the turnover of their machines.
Erwin Wetzel also participated in a panel discussion, together with Jonathan Hart (CEO of the AVA), Joe Hessling (CEO of 365 Retailmarkets), Heidi Chico (CEO Wittern Group), Karalynn M. McDermott (Senior Vice-President Bunn) and Jeffrey Smith (CEO All Star Services), and moderated by Carla Balakgie (CEO & President of NAMA), in which the panellists explained the challenges and the opportunities operators in Europe as well as in the US are facing.
During the famous NAMA opening show, Laura Bush, wife of former US-President G.W. Bush, gave a very inspiring keynote speech in which she gave very interesting anecdotes.
The NAMA One Show was again very successful and CEO Carla Balakgie officially announced that from 2018, the name of the exhibition will be changed to “The NAMA Show”.
