Vending Paris 2010
Vending Paris, the French Vending Show, took place from 27 to 29 October 2010 at Porte de Versailles, in Paris. T he show attracted 10,779 visitors, of which 21% were international visitors. A total of 200 different brands were on display at the event.
For its first edition and in order to attract more international visitors from the vending community, Vending Paris launched an International Business Day on 29 October, for which the EVA was the official sponsor.
The European Vending Association was again present at the show, sharing a space on the NAVSA (French Vending Association) stand. This shared visibility gave the EVA plenty of opportunity to respond to any requests.
This edition of Vending Paris was also very dynamic in terms of conferences, with a total of 12 conferences and 45 speakers packed into the 2 days. Catherine Piana, the EVA’s Director General hosted two conferences. The first one included a summary of the main figures of the French Vending Market, based on the study carried out by Datamonitor, and for which the KPI (Key Performance Indicators) 2009 are now available. Afterwards, Ms Piana animated a round-table discussion with representatives from the main European Vending Associations.
