AVEX 2011

AVEX 2011 attracted companies from around the world, including first time exhibitors from Hungary, Italy, Korea, New Zealand, the US and Spain, as well as those from “closer to home”.  Variety was the name of the game, with a great mix of established companies, new entrants to the refreshments market and some unconventional vending companies exhibiting at AVEX this year.  The organisers congratulated exhibitors on the quality of the stands.

The EVA participated at AVEX with its own stand, which quickly became a meeting point for people in the business, abuzz with information exchanges and requests from members and potential members of the Association.

As in previous editions, the EDWCA (European Drinking Water Cooler Association), also member of the EVA, partnered the AVA to deliver a most successful trade fair.

There was also a very interesting seminar programme.  Erwin Wetzel, the EVA's Regulatory Affairs Manager, presented the audience with current and future European legislation that may affect the UK's vending industry.
