AGM 2011 + Workshop "European Vending Understanding current market issues & trends"

The European Vending Association held its Annual General Assembly on 12 December.  This year was an election year for the EVA Presidency and its Executive Committee.  Participants were then invited to a very special evening and gala dinner, which took place in a unique venue: the BMW Brussels Showroom.

The following day, on 13 December, the EVA hosted a workshop on “European Vending – Understanding current market issues & trends”.  Further to the success of its “ Image of Vending” workshop, hosted two years ago, the Association prepared a most comprehensive programme that covered all aspects of the workshop's theme.  Participants had the opportunity to partake in the following round table discussions of their choice: current trends -2012 and beyond, where is the opportunity for real growth in vending, price and overhead increase rises and how we absorb and cope with them, payment technology, cross-industry cooperation, "premiumization” of the coffee offer, and finally, capsule technology moves into vending.
